Healing Nest Early Intervention provides mobile play-based therapy for children across South East Melbourne under the NDIS early childhood approach. We support children with developmental delays, emotional regulation challenges, cognitive and language development, social skill difficulties, sensory processing needs and school readiness
Our Story
We understand that getting to therapy appointments can be challenging for many families across South East Melbourne. That’s why we’ve designed our service around convenience bringing mobile play-based therapy sessions directly to your child's home, kindergarten or school, in the environments where they already feel safe and confident. Healing Nest makes early intervention easy and accessible by bringing therapy to you.
We understand that juggling appointments and daily life can be overwhelming. We travel to your child’s home, kindergarten, or school so families do not need to worry about driving to therapy appointments or disrupting their routine. Therapy happens in the spaces where children feel safe and confident, helping them stay engaged every step of the way.
We work closely with educators and support staff in kindergarten and school to share strategies and promote consistent support. This helps your child continue progressing even when you are not present. Our focus is on building strong foundations through connection, collaboration, and care.

Director | Early Intervention Specialist
Ali Mohamed Aslam
Ali has several years of experience in child development and therapeutic practice, working across early childhood education and mental health settings. He holds a Master of Early Years Education, a Certificate in Play Therapy and is a certified Sounds-Write Practitioner. Ali specialises in Early Intervention supporting children with developmental delays, emotional regulation challenges, social interactions, school readiness, sensory processing needs and language development. He uses play therapy as a core part of his early intervention approach, creating engaging developmentally appropriate sessions that are tailored to each child’s individual strengths and works closely with families and educators
Early Intervention Specialist | Key Worker
Lexie Yiran
Lexie is a qualified Early Childhood Teacher with a Master of Teaching and a strong background in Early Intervention. She brings years of experience working as a Key Worker, supporting young children with developmental delays, sensory processing differences and emotional regulation challenges. Specialising in early intervention, she works collaboratively with families and educators to build consistent frameworks for success focusing on school readiness, communication skills and each child's unique potential. Grounded in both education and mental health practices, Lexie is committed to nurturing resilience and growth by supporting children in ways that are meaningful, practical and responsive to their individual needs
